O SUJEITO FALANTE: UM MOSAICO POLIFÔNICO

Resumo

The purpose of this article is to make explicit some of the discourse strategies people use in order to build up the image they would like to be joint to them.Besides, it aims to show that this image is constructed in the confluence of the various voices of which discourse is compounded. The analysis is based on Bakhtin’s conception of language which highlights the dialogic nature of language and the polyphonic character of the utterances. It is a perspective that points to a text theory anchored in the field of the social relationships and has as its central basis the idea of interaction.
