Abstract

Along with the teaching and learning processes, the text proposes the practice and the teaching of Arts to underprivileged children, as one of the possibilities of greatly contributing to their psychological and social development, taking into consideration the subjectivity which involves the artistic languages. These languages help the individuals, especially the underprivileged children, to re-encounter their psychic essence, without having to express themselves verbally, greatly helping their full development. The theoretical foundation is based on publications by the researcher H. Gardner and by Marco Antonio Moreira.
