The present study aims to describe the academic experience of undergraduate nursing students when observing the difference between active elderly individuals participating in a community group for the aged and elderly residents at a long-stay institution. It is believed that activities implemented in the community group prevent the feelings of exclusion and abandonment found in institutionalized elderly.Downloads
