The Third Age comes in constant focus of discussions in Brazilian society, and currently the education for this age group back in to a different part, no longer being a means of welfarism or compensation. The elderly have the right to education, provided for in Chapter V, in articles 20 to 25 of the “Estatuto do Idoso” (Law 10741/03). This research has the goal to identify the role of education as a possibility for change for the people of the Third Age, examining the different forms of inclusion and integration of the elderly in the field of education.Downloads
