The purpose of this study was to compare the results of the Informed Consent Term (EHIC) with the use of High Digestive Endoscopy resources. This is a cross-sectional, quantitative and analytical study. A total of 139 individuals and 61 years of age who presented an EHIC to authorize the examination participated. The problem is that power differences between groups may be necessary to maintain the ability to make decisions.
