The study aimed to examine the relationship between the skills of problem solving (PS) of caregivers for elderly and the level of burden/stress experienced in care. The sample responded to a sociodemographic questionnaire, the Zarit Burden Interview and the Problem-Solving Test and reported moderate levels of burden/stress and a tendency to positive orientation and rational style of PS. Male gender was associated with impulsive style of PS and higher burden/stress with avoidant style.Downloads
