The Chilean neoliberal consensus, which has been promoted since the military dictatorship, has installed the depoliticization of social processes, where the struggles for housing were added to private property. The claim against a post-political city, marked by conformism in relation to spatial inequalities and the control of peripheries through housing and subsidies, manages to articulate the collective sense of the movement. Through the experience of the Ukamau population movement, this work aims to describe the scope of its claiming actions as an attitude of anger in the city of Santiago de Chile. Based on interviews with the movement’s key social actors, the article seeks to recognize its trajectory as a social and political movementDownloads
