A matemática e a pessoa cega: um breve panorama das pesquisas realizadas no Brasil entre 2010 e 2015

Este trabalho, de cunho qualitativo e carácter bibliográfico, tem por objetivo apresentar um breve panorama das pesquisas realizadas no Brasil entre 2010 e 2015 que tratam sobre matemática e a pessoa cega. Foram encontramos 21 trabalhos, classificados em 5 categorias criadas após a leitura dos mesmos, em que foram identificados quais são as principais questões tratadas pelos pesquisadores nesse período: (A) desenvolvimento ou adaptação de materiais (pedagógicos ou não); (B) interação entre cegos e videntes; (C) investigação das estratégias utilizadas pelos professores de salas regulares e/ou das salas de recursos/apoio; (D) percepção; (E) adaptações curriculares. Como resultado da categorização das pesquisas destacamos que a maior parte delas, cerca de 52%, tinham como foco (A) e que cerca de 28% como foco (C), esses dados são relevantes pois indicam que, mesmo havendo tantas pesquisas dedicadas à produção de materiais, os pesquisadores que tinham como foco (C) apresentaram relatos de que essa produção não é divulgada a ponto de chegarem às salas de aula.

Abstract

This work, with a qualitative and bibliographical character, aims to present a brief overview of the researches conducted in Brazil between 2010 and 2015 that dealt with mathematics and the blind person. We found 21 papers that they are classified into 5 categories created after reading them and we identify the main issues addressed by the researchers in this period: (A) development or adaptation of materials (pedagogical or not); (B) interaction between blind and sighted people; (C) investigation of strategies used by teachers in regular classrooms and/or resource/support rooms; (D) perception; (E) curricular adaptations. As a result of the categorization of the researches, we highlight that most of them, about 52% focused on (A) and that about 28% as focus (C), these data are relevant because they indicate that, even though there are so many researches dedicated to production of materials, the researchers who focused on (C) reported that this production is not divulged to the point of being channeled into classrooms.
