A dimensão pedagógica da Embaixada do Samba

Abstract

This article intends to show, in general, in some assignments that present a pedagogical dimension and are carried out by members of the Embassy of Samba. This form of organization of the city of São Paulo samba dancers surge in 1995, within the UESP, with the task of coordinating the annual choice of the pair of Citizen and Citizen Samba, Carnaval Court of extras in this city. The time in samba, the 25 years at least of service to Sao Paulo samba is one of the key criterion to join this select group of samba. Thus, ambassadors and ambassadress would have accumulated knowledge and information important to the formation of other samba dancers in relation to norms, attitudes and rituals relating to the world of samba.
