The process of constitution of identity unveiling the movement of the transformation of the school supervisor to educational coordination

Abstract

The article reports the results of the research developed in the Master’s Degree that had its objectives to investigate the process of the constitution of identity of the school supervisor and the possibilities of it being characterized by the autonomy. Therefore, the Psychosocial conception of the identity was adopted (CIAMPA, 2005). The empirical data of this research by means of a questionnaire together with 73 supervisors and of the life stories of two of these supervisors. The analysis process occurred through the technique of the analysis process of the contents (BARDIN, 2004) corpus of the questionnaire and also the analysis of the speech (ORLANDI, 2007) of narratives. The interpretation of the results revealed that the identity of the school supervisor follows a movement the goes from the school supervisor to the education coordination and, that’s why tends to professional autonomy.
