Low-Income: The Symbolic Consumption and Informal Trade of Women's Accessories

To understand more of symbolic consumption universe, a survey on the consumption of women's accessories for low income women was held. Participants were street dealers and their clients. From the perspective of symbolic consumption it was possible to observe some common aspects of consumption of this class of women who resort to their consumer experiences to relate the social universe and mark their presence in it. In management terms that more research is important because it presents some peculiarities of this process of consumption, revealing information that can contribute to the assessment of market strategies.
