This paper aims to show how Social Innovation and Sharing Economy can be connected and change society's habits. This new way of economy can align with a different relationship between consumers and companies or even other consumers. The act of borrowing things instead of buying them is an alternative to the habit of hyperconsumption. On the other hand, social innovation initiatives are new ways of improving society and solving social issues. These two thematics can merge, using sharing economy propositions such as technology to connect people to solve societal problems. The results indicate conceptual approximations of these themes, illustrating them in two case studies.
