The research aims to analyze the scientific production of “safety leadership” in the Web of Science database. The research is a systematic literature review using the Web of Science database and the Methodi Ordinatio. The research findings are related to the main characteristics identified regarding leadership for safety: communication between leader and team member; providing security leadership training and development; providing behavior feedback to employees; motivational issues, policies, and concern for the safety of individuals. The leadership styles that contribute to the safety of employees were identified as transformational, transactional, and authentic. Finally, preparing a future research agenda on the subject was possible.Metrics
