Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the literature on the relationship between Social Participation in Management Councils and Regional Development. The main aspects were traced from the theoretical support of authors such as Almeida and Tatagiba (2012), Avritzer (2010), Bonjardim et al. (2017), Dahl (2001), Lavalle et al. (2021), Matias de Abreu et al. (2019), among others. The study was carried out through a bibliometric search in articles from the Web of Science - Main Collection (Clarivate Analytics) database using the terms “Management Councils”, “Social Participation”, “Sustainability” and “Regional Development”. The results demonstrate the formation of clusters in the authorship x citation x countries relationship, with emphasis on Spain and the United States of America (USA).

Angelina Maria de Oliveira Licório, Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Rondônia - Campus Zona Norte e Universidade Municipal de São Caetano do Sul - Campus Centro

PhD student in Business Administration at the University of São Caetano do Sul (USCS). He holds a Master's degree in Administration from the Federal University of Rondônia (2014) and a Master's degree in Law from the University of Marília (2000), a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of Alta Paulista (1983) and in Administration from the Faculty of Accounting Sciences and Administration of Tupã ( 1998). She has experience in the area of Law, with an emphasis on Administrative and Constitutional Law, and in the area of Administration, with an emphasis on Strategic Management, People Management and Entrepreneurship. Professor Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rondônia - IFRO, Porto Velho North Zone Campus. Researcher at the Study and Research Group on Innovation and Sustainability in the Amazon - GEPISA.

Raquel da Silva Pereira, Universidade Municipal de São Caetano do Sul

PhD in Social Sciences (2003) and Master in Administration (1999), both from PUC/SP. Specialist in Human Resources Management, by the School of Business Administration - ESAN (1988) and Full Licensed through the Teacher Training Course (ESQUEMA I) by the Faculty of Technology of São Paulo - FATEC/SP (1992). Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidade São Judas Tadeu - USJT (1984). Since March 2008, she has been a professor at the undergraduate level at the Municipal University of São Caetano do Sul (USCS). She is a professor and researcher at the Postgraduate Program in Administration (PPGA/USCS), in which she was Manager during two periods: between May 2011 and July 2014 and between January 2016 and June 2018. She implemented and coordinated the Course of Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, at SENAC/SP (April/2007 to March/2008). She served as Director of Continuing Education (July to December / 2006), lato sensu postgraduate area, with 60 courses, at Uninove. She was Academic Department Director (July / 2000 to July / 2006), directing the Administration Courses (General and Qualifications); Economic Sciences; Accounting Sciences: Executive Secretariat and Tourism. She coordinated Administration courses (General and Qualifications) between January/1999 and September/2000, at Uninove. She created and formatted the first Specific (Sequential) Higher Education Courses in Brazil, which she coordinated for over a year. She has been teaching since 1989 and researches on Sustainable Development, Social Responsibility, Regional Development, Environmental Management, Social and Environmental Sustainability, People Management and on Management in Higher Education. She is the founder and leader of the CNPq Research Group called GDS-Gestão para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável. She has market experience in the administrative area, having worked in organizations such as Banco Itaú S / A, Perdigão Alimentos S / A and Banco Mercantil de São Paulo, among others. It develops contents of disciplines to be taught at a distance. She is the author of books, book chapters and national and international articles. She has developed research projects funded by CAPES, FAPESP and CNPq. She is an evaluator of processes submitted to CAPES.
