This study analyzed the perceptions of undergraduate and graduate students regarding the use of chatbots in active, transformative learning processes for business-related topics. Through a quantitative survey conducted between February and August 2024 across different regions of Brazil, data were collected using a structured questionnaire with socioeconomic questions and statements related to the pillars of Active and Transformative Learning. Statistical analyses, using Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests, indicated a positive perception among students regarding the use of chatbots, especially in the pillars of knowledge and content, learning strategies, faculty development, administrative support, educational leadership, and impact assessment. The results offer practical implications for educational institutions and contribute theoretically to the debate on chatbots in the context of the Global South.
