Abstract

Belatedly of XIX century management appears as a profession in Brazil only in the 40's begins first courses. In vogue in Brazilian nation by high wages becomes increasingly important discussion about the administrator curriculum. This situation contributed to scope’s article, similarities check local situation and the appropriateness of coursesmanagement curricular offered by federal institutions in Zona da Mata Mineira. As a theoretical approach became a historical overview of cycles of management curriculum, over insight of authors such as Andrade and Ambrona, culminating in an analysis of current legislation. For this purpose, was used a quantitative and qualitative approach, through frequency analysis of work hours dedicated to each axis of competence in accordance with Resolution CNE / CES n ° 4, 2005, July 13, in studied courses. The results indicate the presence of bars too different and, in some cases, not bothering to meet local need.
