Hipótese e causalidade – uma abordagem epistemológica

Este ensaio analisa o emprego da hipótese na pesquisa científica e problematiza a questão da causalidade no âmbito das ciências naturais e sociais. Para o desenvolvimento da análise, optouse por uma abordagem epistemológica que implica buscar novas reflexões que superem os limites e fragilidades de pressupostos teóricos formalistas e reducionistas dominantes e ajudem na construção de novos enfoques que possibilitem avanços nos escopos de interpretação dos fenômenos humanos e sociais, inclusive os relacionados à área da Administração. Palavras-chave: Hipótese, causalidade, epistemologia Abstract This essay analyses the use of hypothesis in scientific research as well as poses the problem of the issue of causality in social and natural sciences. For developing the analysis, the option is for an epistemological approach which implies a search for new reflections that can overtake the limits and fragility of dominant - formalism and reductionism - theoretical presupposes as well as can help the construction of new focuses that will allow advances in the scope of interpretation of human and social phenomena, inclusively the ones related to the area of Management.
