Implantação do planejamento estratégico em entidades que não visam lucro

No mundo dos negócios, muito se tem escrito sobre a importância da administração estratégica para o sucesso das organizações. Diversas são as organizações que têm adotado essa técnica, tanto públicas como privadas, quer sejam elas de pequeno, médio ou grande porte. Este artigo traz uma experiência de administração estratégica em uma empresa singular – uma entidade sem fins lucrativos e representativa de profissionais aposentados e pensionistas. Através dele, problematizamos a possibilidade de adoção das técnicas de administração e de planejamento estratégico por organizações ainda que seus objetivos não sejam ligados ao lucro e à concorrência. Abstract In the business world much has been written about the importance of strategic management to the success of the organizations. There are many organizations that have adopted this technique, as well as public or private ones, no matter if they are of little, middle or great range. This article brings an experience of strategic management in a singular enterprise – a no-profit entity, representative of retired professionals. Through it we reflect upon the possibility of adoption of strategic management and planning by organizations even if their objectives are not related to profit and to competition.
