Palavras-chave: Sindicalismo, sindicatos brasileiros, transformação do trabalho, globalização. Abstract The unions have always played an important role in the process of the workers´ conquests. However, in the last decades, they have been submitted to high pressures caused by the internationalization of the work systems and of technology. The globalization of the economy, as well as the new administration ways, results in a smaller of the worker´s participation in the union´s movement and weaken it. It must be added that both the unions and syndicalists are not up-to-date on the following aspects: administration, behaviour and knowledge. This article, having these aspects as backcloth, aims to take the reader to ponder over the future of the Brazilian syndicalism. Key-words: syndicalism; Brazilian unions; work transformation; globalization.Metrics
