The purpose of this article is to describe the internationalization process, through a case study from the sector of bus bodybuilding. The theoretical basis for this case is behavioral and economic theories of the internationalization. This research was carried out through analysis of data provided by the company, the Internet and an interview with an executive. The result of the internationalization process is positive for the company analyzed. The research confirms the prior conjectures of the behavioral approach sustained by gradualism and the psychic distance theory of Uppsala. Through economic theory explain direct investments joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions.Metrics
