This article presents the results of a bibliometric survey on the theme "4.0/digital leadership" to characterize publications in the area based on several indicators. The aim was to provide an overview of the state-of-the-art research on 4.0/digital leadership. The results indicate that 4.0/digital leadership is a contemporary theme (2016 to 2023), with a growing trend. Regarding the origin of the publications, the data indicate a high dispersion in countries and institutions, with no cluster that concentrates a significant part of the works. The findings also reveal that digital leadership is a construct associated with the context and point to the strong interest of studies in the impact of digital leadership on the company's ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
