Abstract

The text beginns from the Good Samaritan parable to discuss the contribution that a person can make to alleviate the suffering of another and, on the other hand, the violence that means indifference to the pain of others. This parable teaches that one should give special attention to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in society and the next is the person who is at your fingertips and is suffering with his own misery, no matter if it is a stranger or an enemy. It adds that the mobilization to help involves personal sacrifice, but when it is motivated by love, depends neither generates a desire a retribution for you.
