Abstract

This article address the catechism as a path of training and follow Jesus Christ, which is based on the experience of faith lived in community, grounded in the Eucharist and the Word of God, the service of mission. Catechesis for occupying a privileged place for evangelization, one of the pillars of his pastoral calls attention to the whole Church as it relates to the formation of missionary disciples be able to account for the growth of church life and mission in the world. For such a proposal for training and education of faith respond to today's needs, urges a return to the centrality of the person of Jesus Christ, founded on a deep and personal experience of discipleship and commitment to the Lord.
