Abstract

The Amazon is the owner of many great things. Vast territories, varieties of animal and plant species, and cultural complexities. The Church has been involved and assumed reflection on the Amazon by proposing a comprehensive consciousness between natural and cultural creation, therefore, that includes the human person and its socio-cultural expressions. This brief research is presented from the look at three diversities present in the region: natural, cultural and ecclesial. It contemplates two aspects of local ecclesial actions and points out three relevant elements in the articulation of Amazonian theology. In this vast and complex world of possibility it concludes that the divine presence in this human paradise is plural. That is why theological reflection demands that we consider the peculiar ecclesial ardor that harmonizes the theoretical and practical, religious and social, official and alternative aspects, eternal and temporal
