Abstract

This paper aims to identify and explain the ecclesiology of Vatican II. From this perspective, attempts to demonstrate, through a historical and theological analysis, the change of the Church in relation to its dialogue with the world and in relation to their own evangelizing mission. Fundamentally, the paper addresses this "Copernican shift" in three parts, one Church: dialogical, open to the world, "people of God," where everyone is called common, and particularly based on its dynamics and communion. In short, the ecclesiology of Vatican II brought a new reflection on the Church itself and its performance in the world.
