The discipleship of Mary of Nazareth from the narrative of the annunciation (Lk 1:26-38)

The aim of this article is to analyze the discipleship of the Virgin Nazarene in the light of the pericope of the narrative annunciation made and Lk 1.26-38. Thus, this pericope constitutes the material object of this study; in turn, the formal object is the field of biblical theology. This selection of verses places the reader in front of Mary of Nazareth, when called to an unreserved follow-up, as well as to the outcome – happy – of this mutual surrender: that of God to Mary, that of Mary to God. It is intended, therefore, with this work, to understand how the Lord acts in the disciple, who commits himself consciously and responsibly to the saving project. To this end, we appropriate of Lk 1.26-38 reading, with which it can be concluded that the Word of God addressed to Mary constitutes a specific personal calling, which conforms it into a model of disciple for all who is reached by the divine call.
