Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present the oral narrative of a researcher of Islam about issues such as her choice of the object of research and her personal background. The way of narrating her experience reveals important elements for an anthropological analysis. The result of the respective was transformed into a Website http://www.antropologiaeislam.com.br/ which offers an insight into these “oral performances”, such as the difficulty of talking about herself, the unsaid and other aspects not directly accessible.
