Abstract

Due to the statistical increase of elderly people worldwide, including Brazil, there is a growing number of studies focusing on the process of aging and its multiple implications. In this context, the article offers an overview of the Brazilian academic literature, which deals with the impact of religiosity upon the quality of life of the elderly people.
