Afonso: articulator of a new perspective for Religious Education

Abstract

This articles aimes at understanding the contribution of prof. Afonso Maria Ligorio Soares for Science of Religion highlighting Religious Education, for this was carried out bibliography study in the period 2006-2016, covering publications in books, annals and periodicals, as well as the guidelines in the graduate program and the commitment with the research associations. Throughout this course was to identify how this researcher articulated through their studies a new perspective for this curriculum component has as a reference science, that is, the science of religion.
