Abstract

This paper presents the controversy situation of Religious Education discipline at school, in front of Religious Pluralism, the secular State and other variables, with the Religious Education this before a malaise. Therefore we present the Science of Religion as a new paradigm for this curricular component, both for the definition of content, teacher training and the very naming replacement of “Religious Education” with “Science of Religion”.
