Abstract

On May, 28th, 2018, the “Dictionary of Slavery and Freedom”, organized by Lilia Moritz Schwarcz and Flávio dos Santos Gomes, was launched at the Eva Herz Theater, at Livraria Cultura, São Paulo. To shed a light on the multiple facets of slavery, the authors edited a thematic Dictionary composed of 50 critical entries. This essay presents reading notes of the ten letter “A” and nine letter “C’ entries.
