Abstract

The article analyses the development of Islãic (Islamic) architecture through mosques, where the religion is practiced institutionally. Through bibliographical references, the brief history of mosques, its architecture and the items in them contained were studied. It’s noted that the mosques are among the central spaces on Islãic communities during the history, where they meet each other.
