Abstract

This article presents two complementary studies that aimed to check the personal view of Religious Studies graduate students about science, religion, the relation between both of them, and whether/how their personal views are connected with the search for the graduate program and with their academic research project. In Study 1 (quantitative), 127 students from 12 programs affiliated to ANPTECRE answered an online questionnaire that included the Belief in Science Scale and the Centrality of Religiosity Scale. In Study 2 (qualitative), 20 participants were randomly selected from those who were willing to provide a semi-structured interview to deepen the issues addressed in Study 1.
