The role of the religious discourse on the ethnocultural identity construction from the Italian immigrants in Curitiba at the end of the 19th century

The present research focuses on the study of a Pentecostal rite church, the Igreja Profética Batista da Restauração, located in the Metropolitan Region of Belém as the object of study. The objective of the research is to understand the primary territorial practice used by the religious institution in the control and acquisition of new territories for the expansion of its religious territoriality. In order to achieve this objective, fieldwork was carried out at the study site, and semi-structured interviews were conducted with pastors and other members of the Church.
