African and Afro-Brazilian religions in the present time: study possibilities and perspectives for the field of history

In this work, we invite historians to the studies of the religions of African and Afro-Brazilian origin, which are widely disseminated among social sciences professionals, considering the history of the present time and oral history as an analytical possibility. Thus, we will discuss the studies carried out in Brazil’s Northern region, mainly in Roraima. Finally, we will present an experience report on our investigative itineraries.
