Abstract

This article aims to analyze, from a phenomenological-anthropological point of view, the life lines, body modulations, of the sensibilities and perception involved in the invention and practice of Christian yoga, a form of yoga created by the Jesuit priest Haroldo J. Rahm. Therefore, we follow as empirical anchorage ethnographic and historical-literary sources, about practices, retreats and books on Christian yoga and its psychosomatic exercises, aiming 1) draw his lifelines, and 2) follow them from the point of view of embodiment.
