Abstract

The article intends to establish a relationship between human mobility, primarily the phenomenon of migration, and religion, starting from the current context of the pandemic. To do so, it uses the concept of immunity, placing it with the concept of community. Methodologically, the main horizon is that of the philosophical discourse, in the search for a theoretical understanding of the models of human relationship, with an impact on the relationship between groups and on the issue of cultural and religious identity. In order to overcome a model based on immunization strategies, which tends to violently oppose cultures and religions – especially in a migratory context – a model of universal hospitality, based on the category of responsibility for the other, is suggested.
