The mobility of religions and religiosities in the migratory context

The article was based on a literature review on the theme of the mobility of religions and religiosities, through a migratory perspective. Seeking to analyze the changes that occur in the religiosity of migrant people and also in their religious institutions. The reflection has as reference the displacements at the international level, both from the perspective of migration and mobilities, having as a priority focus the so-called Western world (Europe and the Americas). The various studies mentioned in this article show how migratory dynamics intensify the pluralization of religious fields and produce significant changes both in the religiosity of migrant people and in their institutions, even in their countries of origin. The heterogeneity of these changes does not allow for standardization, and it is necessary to consider the numerous variables involved. In any case, with migrant people, religions and religiosities also migrate, not in the sense that they change places, but that they change.
