Keywords:

This paper presents preliminary data about the Ishizuchi Jinja do Brasil, a religious group created in the mid-1950s by Japanese immigrants of Mogi das Cruzes city, state of São Paulo. The belief in Ishizhuchi is a product of the Shinto-Buddhist syncretism centered on the cult of certain sacred mountains.Downloads
