Abstract

The purpose of this report is to describe the activities carried out during the 1st Conference on the History of Spiritism - Allan Kardec: life, ideas, writings and influences. The event took place on November 29 and 30, 2024, in the city of Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais. It was organized by the Federal Institute of Southeast Minas Gerais - Juiz de Fora Campus, the Research Center of Spirituality and Health (NUPES) of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora and the Postgraduate Program of Salgado de Oliveira University (UNIVERSO), with the support of the Minas Gerais State Research Promotion Foundation (FAPEMIG). Professors and researchers from prestigious institutions spoke at the congress.
