Dossier 89 — History and Temporalities
Editors: Denise Bernuzzi de Sant’Anna (PUCSP) and José Luís Câmara Leme (Universidade Nova de Lisboa)
Abstract: The dossier seeks to bring together texts permeated by reflections on the various ways of representing, defining, and experiencing time. Works that show how past experiences (individual or collective) intertwine with the present, generating expectations and fears about the future, will be welcome. Beyond a linear and objective conception, the aim is to consider time as a multiple and deeply subjective experience, allowing the past to be lived and modified in the present through the workings of memory.
