Este artículo explora el papel fundamental de los gobiernos en fomentar la innovación sostenible para enfrentar el cambio climático, centrándose en el Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible 13 y el Acuerdo de París. Resalta el modelo de innovación de la Hélice Quíntuple, que integra consideraciones ecológicas junto con academia, industria, gobierno y sociedad civil, para impulsar transiciones socioecológicas. El documento analiza la interacción entre los sectores público y privado, el compromiso social y las incertidumbres en las políticas climáticas. Concluye con ideas sobre cómo los esfuerzos integrados pueden conducir a sistemas sostenibles y resilientes que alineen el crecimiento económico con la preservación ambiental
