A economia circular no ambiente corporativo e o desenvolvimento sustentável da indústria de Santa Catarina, Brasil

O artigo propõe investigar como o ambiente corporativo se relaciona com a economia circular, visando a entender como essa conexão pode contribuir para o desenvolvimento sustentável das cadeias de suprimentos do estado de Santa Catarina. Realizou-se uma revisão sistemática para a identificação dos principais aspectos da economia circular relacionados com a indústria. Além disso, elaborou-se uma triangulação dos aspectos com os documentos públicos e consultivos oriundos da Federação da Indústria de Santa Catarina (FIESC) para corroborar com a análise regional. Com base nisso, foram mapeados 22 aspectos relacionados com o conceito da economia circular, distribuídos perante os 9 principais segmentos da indústria de Santa Catarina, de modo que se permitiu construir uma ligação entre esses aspectos e o cenário industrial da região estudada. Para complementação da análise, foram revisados 36 materiais da FIESC que se alinhavam com a temática da pesquisa. Concluiu-se que os aspectos que norteiam a EC se ramificam de maneira implícita nos materiais consultivos da FIESC, dando ênfase à importância da implementação desse conceito e de suas estratégias no cenário industrial, de forma que se fortaleçam as cadeias de suprimentos presentes no Estado de Santa Catarina. Contudo, ressalta-se a necessidade da construção de um documento normativo que evidencie o conceito da EC e fortaleça a transição do modelo linear atual para o modelo econômico circular.
