Abstract

This article introduces the development of a new model of integration in Latin America. The process itself is described as new outcome, given that it differs from its previous similar, specifically as to the fact that it doesn’t focus on the commercial approach. It’s been debated that the model reflects geopolitical changes in regions and in the world as a whole. Those changes have brought light to a common sense that integrations push political measures to address common problems of countries in a region. At last, some obstacles are indicated as a downturn on the efforts to accelerate the process.
