Abstract

The article intends to analyze the Marx thought about the theoretical place of the politics and the State in the capitalist production mode. For so, the article uses the classical concepts of the historical materialism as well as the historiographies elements that compose Marx’s studies about the political processes in France between 1848 and 1871. The essay works with the concepts of the labor division, ideology, reification and fetish to explain the social continuity of the capitalist production mode. Using Hegel’s philosophical genesis of the State, the article identifies the concepts inherited by Marx for the rationalization of the theme.
