Abstract

Written by Francesca Ferrando, the book "Philosophical Posthumanism" (2019) is the fruit of a thoughtful quest to understand what we are here and now, and what we can become. In his own words, "posthumanism is the philosophy of our time" (p. 1). With this invitation to passionate (and passionate) reflection, the reader is led to think about how the latest onto-epistemological, scientific, and biotechnological developments provoke a radical redefinition in the understanding of what it is to be human.
