A DIMENSÃO ARGUMENTATIVA POR MEIO DAS MACROPROPOSIÇÕES SEQUENCIAIS NO CONTO SOLAR DOS PRÍNCIPES, DE MARCELINO FREIRE

Abstract

This article has as its theme the study of the argumentative dimension and the textual sequences in the short story Solar dos Príncipes, by Marcelino Freire, and aims to examine the sequential macro- propositions as a resource to reach the argumentative dimension. For this, we will analyze the textual sequences in the light of Textual Analysis of Discourses in the Freirian short story, as proposed by Jean- Michel Adam (2011, 2019). We justified our choice of text because it problematizes the conditions of peripheral living and because it presents most of the macro-propositions addressed by Adam. The results of the analysis reveal that Freire's text presents a textual materiality whose compositional structure takes place through sequences that point to an argumentative dimension of denunciation against the peripheral class.
