Resumo

Análise-depoimento acerca dos 50 anos do Golpe Civil-Militar de 1964. Afastado do saudosismo conservador, o artigo retoma eventos do dia do golpe e a tomada do CACO pelos militares. Questiona a continuidade da censura e da tortura mesmo na democracia. Alerta para a retomada necessária dessa memória, desviando-se dos acordos e concessões da Comissão Nacional da Verdade e suas correlatas estaduais. Afirma a continuidade do vigor político dos que enfrentaram o golpe para construção de outros mundos sem cair da chantagem do possível.

Abstract

The article is an analysis-testimony of the 50th anniversary of the civilian-military coup d’état of 1964. Moving apart from the conservative nostalgia, the text goes through events which took place in the coup’s day and the occupation of the CACO by the military. The article problematizes the continuity of censorship and torture even in a democracy. It also alerts to the necessity of not conceding to negotiations such as the ones hold by the National and State Truth Commissions. At last, the article stands for the political vitality of who fought the dictatorship aiming the construction of new worlds without falling in the blackmailing of the possible choices.
