From fear and incertainty to the unhealthy normalization of human species

Abstract

The human body, as well as animal and plant bodies, have been subjected to a continuous instrumentalization through progress and reason. Although biological and social dimensions have improved considerably, this assertion is not true with regard to Covid-19 pandemic in contemporary society. In addition, the interdependence and complementarity between human, animal, and plant species, must be noted, since it is in this space-time that their biological and sociological processes tend to produce death, diseases, and pandemics that results from the diversity of the virus, which has its locus in multiple cultural, economic, social, and political causes and effects.
