TRIÂNGULOS DIFERENTES: DOS PLANOS AOS GEODÉSICOS

Résumé

O trabalho apresenta um recorte da tese de doutorado do primeiro autor, ilustrando um exemplo de possibilidade de geometrizar o currículo da Licenciatura em Matemática. Entendemos que a imaginação, intuição e visualização oferecem muitas possibilidades de abordar geometricamente diversos conceitos matemáticos que, muitas vezes, priorizam aspectos algébricos a geométricos. Recursos da Geometria Diferencial e da Geometria Analítica, desenvolvidos de forma imaginativa, intuitiva e visual, podem ser empregados como método para obtenção da soma dos ângulos internos de um triângulo numa superfície esférica, cuja soma é igual a 270º. São caracterizadas as geodésicas da superfície esférica e, por meio de analogias intuitivas estabelecidas com as retas no plano, são constituídos os lados do triângulo. O presente trabalho não tem por objetivo apresentar resultado de uma pesquisa em específico e sim dar uma possibilidade de uso das habilidades mencionadas em disciplinas da formação de professores de Matemática. Abstract This paper presents a cut of the doctoral thesis of first author, illustrating an example of the possibility of geometrizes the curriculum of the degree in Mathematics. We understand that imagination, intuition and visualization offer diversity of possibilities to approach mathematical concepts geometrically, that many times, prioritize algebraic aspects the geometric. Features of Differential Geometry and Analytical Geometry, developed of imaginative, intuitive and visual form, they can be used as method for attainment of the addition of the internal angles of a triangle in a spherical surface, whose addition is equal 270º. The geodesic of spherical surface are characterized and by means of established intuitive analogies with the straight lines in the plan and they constitute the sides of the triangle. This paper does not aim to present results of a survey in particular, but give a chance to use the skills mentioned in the disciplines of mathematics teacher education. Keywords: Geodesic triangle.
